Obviously these pictures are not of the fashion variety, but since weather is a key ingredient in how we dress I thought I'd show you the view from my front porch looking out. Although these pictures show you the beautiful views I am accustomed to what they don't show however, is how FREAKING cold it has been! I cannot count how many mornings I have gotten dressed in an outfit to DIE for only to find that it snowed over night. My 4-inch heels are not ideal to walk through a foot of snow... Yes, my dears, I am the QUEEN of dressing weather-inapropriately. Many a snowy day I have dared to don short skirts and shorts. How do I make them "appropriate" for the frigid weather? A pair of patterned tights and some thigh high leg warmers of course! (hey don't judge!) Amazingly enough this little trick actually does work!
