Despite popular belief I am still alive and kickin, and I suppose I could apologize for the long absence, but I won't.

I guess I can catch you up on current events within my life.... I turned 20.

New Beginnings

So I am officially 20, and no longer a "teen".  I am now on the first phase of my adult life.  This is a scary thought to be completely honest with you.  And I have already had my first set of struggles the first day.

When you go through problems the best way to deal with them is with your family, and its nice to see that my family can come together when they arise.

So in short, hold on to your families.  They can drive you crazy, but at least its a fun ride to get there.

The Final Countdown...

On this the eve before my twentieth birthday, I thought I would take a moment and think about what I am really grateful for.  What are the things that I appreciate that I take for granted (oops)?

So Let's start!

I'm thankful for the little things. ... you know like food? And clothes. And electricity.
But most of all I am thankful for the people in my life that make it all worthwhile. I know I mentioned a few yesterday, and that still stands, but the people I'm talking about are the ones that are closest to me. The Family.

And I am very grateful that its a big one, makes for lots of company! :)

Due to numerous requests(I feel so loved!) I have decided to post and let you know that I am indeed, still breathing! I have just been realllly busy, and I am sure you all know how that can be! 

So here is just a quick recap at the last couple weeks... (wow its been a minute!) 

.... School, work, sleep.

I've been spending alot of time with this lovely lady: 

And lets face it- there is nothing better than girly time! She has been awesome while I having been dealing with some personal issues and I love her for it! And while we are mentioning awesome ladies, I couldn't forget to add this wonderful lady as well:

Scratch that, I am going to mention both of these ladies in the above picture, because they are both awesome!  

The one in the middle is one of my FAVORITE aunts ever! And I am lucky enough to work with her! I also work with the cutie on the end (the right side guys, we all know I'm cute! hehe) 

Both of these wonderful ladies are there for me and willing to listen to any and all of my drama when and if I have it.  So here's a big hug to you guys! 

YOU ROCK!!

Oh and while we are rocking and a rolling--- Friday is my birthday!!! :D

On a scale of 1-10 I'm a big FAT 2-0! (thats twenty for those who didn't get that ;) )

I am back.  You know you all missed me ever so much. 

I bet you're wondering what happened exactly? 

Well... I'm not telling. HA. 

All I can say is that I am getting better... Slowly, very slowly.

And other than that there's nothing you can really say, except that I hope you enjoy these pictures! 

And word to the wise- I'm kind of a dork. But thats what you love about me right? Right?

Sometimes...

...you have something happen to you that just changes your perspective on things... and not in a good way.

Something like that happened to me yesterday- hence the no posting.

I had outfit pictures all done- and they are fabulous.

I had a relatively good day- and for a Monday that's fabulous.

I had an amazing steak dinner which I would've probably mentioned - and that would've been fabulous.

Then that something happened- It wasn't fabulous.

So in all honesty, I cried a little (okay, a lot).

And I went to bed, because when something like this happens, thats almost all you can do to put off dealing with it.

The only downside to this is when you wake up the next morning (or this morning, whatever) you still have to deal with it. I don't love that.

Don't worry though, I will hopefully post my usual bubbly post tomorrow- or maybe even tonight. Depends on how this day of mine goes, ya know?

So until then here's a little lovin and a little huggin, and here's wishing you have a better day than my night. :)

Real Quick ...

Sometimes taking an outfit picture just doesn't suit.  And I'm ok with that. 

Breaking News: 

I got my hair did (see above picture). I got more caramels and burgundy reds added to the tips.  This was in keeping with my ombre/melt hairstyle I'm goin for. Whatcha think? 

Its raining. 

Actually its snowing. 

oh wait... instant update- sleet. 

Hey can I just say that I love Utah weather? LOVE it. 

In other news, I have a TON of homework to attend to.  Do I want to? pshhh puhlease! NO. Do I have to be responsible and make sure I meet my dealine? Again, no.  Will I do it anyways, even though my comfortable bed is calling my name? And even though posting on here is way more fun? YES.  Because I am a grownup.  And because I am responsible. And worthwhile. And now that I think about it, not hard on the eyes.  OH, and because I do self-affirmations in places for the whole wide world to see.  

I am that cool.
